JUNIOR “HARVEY” DICKENSON
JANUARY 16, 1940 – SEPTEMBER 14, 2021
Peacefully, at the Woodstock Hospital after a courageous battle with illness, Junior “Harvey” Dickenson passed away at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Marilyn (Potts) Dickenson for 51 years. Proud and loving father of Joseph Dickenson (Crystal) of London, Karen Quaite (John) of Tillsonburg, Patty Thorne of Tillsonburg and Debbie Lavigne (Dave) of Brantford. Cherished grandfather of 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchidlren. Dear brother of Lanny Burtch, Kevin Burtch both of Alberta, Keverly Chocier of London and brother-in-law of Marlene Magasazi (Frank) of Otterville, Gladys Gustin (James) of Tillsonburg and Joanne Potts of Brantford. Harvey is also survived by many nieces and newphews. Predeceased by his son Harvey, parents George and Edith (Millard) Dickenson, brother Danny Burtch and sister Pauline Lamourex. In keeping with Harvey’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A service will not take place at this time. Inurnment at Straffordville Cemetery will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-52021) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
