June was born June 11,1929 to Lorne and Marian Stretten , Regina, Sask. She had 3 siblings- Joyce, Boyson and Terry.
The drought of the 30s forced the family to move to Mistatim
School for June involved lessons by correspondence and later, attendance at Bachelor School. After finishing school her wish was to teach. She worked as a teacher’s aid at Motion School, Amrit Sask, then replacing the post mistress for a short while. She then worked at Halttman’s general store.
She met and married Louis Muller April 28, 1955. They rented the « Lutz » house and worked various jobs until they eventually settled to the current yard sight. In 1964 Louis and June started to raise registered Polled Hereford cattle, winning numerous championship awards.
Louis passed in 1989. June continued to raise cattle. In 2020 she moved to Arborfield Long Term Care Home. At this time June very generously donated the home quarter to the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation and established the June and Louis Muller, Muller Wildlife Sanctuary
June is pre-deceased by her husband -Louis, parents- Lorne and May, brother-Boyson, sister-in-law, aunts and uncles.
Survived: by sister- Joyce, brother- Terry. 2 brothers-in-law, one sister- in- law, niece and nephew, great nieces and nephews and cousins.
