At home, following a long battle with Sarcoidosis, with her husband and three boys by her side, in Woodlawn, ON, on June 18, 2021 at the age of 83 years. Greatly missed by her devoted husband Gerry Heaton and lovingly remembered by sons Darrell Cross (Susie), Steven Cross, stepson Christian Heaton, sister Linda Reynolds, two grandchildren Hermione Eagle and Jordan Cross, two great-grandchildren Ernie Eagle and Oscar Eagle as well as several nieces and nephews. June was predeceased by her parents Percy and Mina Peters, sisters Lila Cartwright and Susan Sellick, brothers Lawrence and Stu Peters (Gail) and stepson Andrew Heaton. Cremation has taken place. A private celebration of June’s life will follow with interment at Torbolton Cemetery, Woodlawn, ON.
