Obituary of Judy Champagne
Unexpectedly, yet peacefully, passed away with her family by her side at the Sault Area Hospital on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at the age of 75. Beloved wife and best friend of Ronald Sr. for 59 years. Cherished mother of June Champagne (Fern), Rhonda Burmaster (Dave) and Ron Jr. (Joelle). Proud grandma of Chantel, Travis (Deanna), Cody (Megan), Kristen (Bobby), Amanda, Michael, Rikki-Lee and Sheldon. Great Grandma of many. Predeceased by her parents Albert and Rose Bertin and her parents-in-law Arthur and Yvonne Champagne. Sister of Gerry Breckenridge (Ken), Karen Bertin, Sharon, late Maurice Bertin and the late Larry Bertin. Judy will be fondly missed by her many nieces, nephews and the Bertin and Champagne families. Judy was not only Ron’s life partner, but his work partner as well at Northern Pipe Supply, which she took great pride in. She was a loving and kind individual who cared deeply for her grandchildren and her friends. They gave her great joy. Judy had an contagious smile that could light up any room. She had a passion for cooking and sewing. Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Social distancing and the use of masks is mandatory. The use of hand sanitizer is appreciated. A private family service will be held with Mrs. Helen Smith officiating. Memorial donations to the charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated.
