John G. Parker
1932-2021
Peacefully with his family by his side at the Prince County
Hospital Summerside on Friday May 7th, 2021 of
John G. Parker of Summerside and formerly of North Carleton aged 89
years. Born in Charlottetown, February 22, 1932, son of the
late George and Hazel (Dockerty) Parker.
Husband of Marion (Wright) Parker. Father of Susan
(Adair) McDonald, Wayne (Sharon), Janet (Shane) Lefurgey, Karen
(Donnie) MacInnis, Brian (Lana) and Tasha. Grandfather of 12
grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren. Sister of Shirley
(David) Smith. Brother-in-law of Howard MacPhail, Carl
(Vivian) Wright and Douglas (Rachel) Wright. Also survived
by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by sisters Doris (Judd) Clow, Florence Dow,
Marion (Arnold) Francis and Jean MacPhail.
Special Thanks to Dr. J. Sharpe and Dr. T. McDonell and
all the wonderful nursing staff at the Prince County
Hospital.
Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington. Due
to Covid 19 restrictions, no public visitation will be held.
A private funeral service will be available to view
online on the funeral home’s website after 2 p.m.
on Wednesday May 12, 2021. Interment later in the Searletown
Cemetery. If so desired contributions may be made to the
Prince County Hospital Foundation.
