On Wednesday November 17th, 2021 at the age of 89, with family at her side Johanna (Overweg) passed away at Bridlewood Manor, Brockville On. Beloved wife of the late Lubertus (Bert) Oosterhof. Dear mother of Leo Oosterhof (Susan), Henry Oosterhof (Evelina), Alex Oosterhof (Julie), Gary Oosterhof (Corina), Diane VandeMeent (Doug), Annette Schreuders (Robert) and Paul Oosterhof (Wilma). Predeceased by son-in-law John VandeMeent and also a daughter Wilma in infancy. Loving grandmother of 22 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by one great-granddaughter, Cassandra and one great-grandson Ethan. Dear sister of Janny of Holland. Predeceased by two brothers and three sisters all of Holland. Johanna will by sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the Bethel Christian Reformed Church (117 Windsor Drive, Brockville) on Sunday November 21st, from 4-7 p.m. Friends are welcome to join family for the internment at Greenbank Cemetery, Rocksprings, On. At 9:30 a.m. Monday November 22. Funeral Service will be held at Brockville Bethel C.R.C. on Monday November 22nd, at 11 a.m. In memoriam’s to Heritage Community Christian School, Brockville Bethel C.R.C. (Building Fund) or the charity of your choice will be gratefully acknowledged by the family.
