Truesdell Joseph Robert
December 18,1957- July 30, 2021
At home in Toronto, in the care of his loving wife and surrounded by his children, after a courageous 6-year battle with cancer, on Friday July 30, 2021. Joe Truesdell beloved husband of Anne Elizabeth Bird. Predeceased by his parents, Francis and Dorene Truesdell. Father of Jae R. Truesdell (Bianca Roth), Alli Akira Truesdell (Alan Dawe), Luka Shaye Truesdell (Warren Steele) and step-daughter Kiri Bird (Kalle Sveder). Proud Grandfather of Philip. Dear brother of Ronald (Lynn deceased 2017) , Michael (Debbie), David, Billy, Teddy, Tim (Vicky) and Sally Haird. Joe was a much-loved uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. A brief Graveside service will be held at Gananoque Cemetery at 11 am Saturday August 7, 2021. A Celebration of Life will be held August 14th. Updates on time and location will be included on Tompkins website. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations in Joseph’s name to the Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation Fund would be appreciated by the family.
