Boland, Joseph “Joe”
After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Joe passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on December 12th, 2021 at South Huron Hospital at the age of 70. Joe was the beloved father of Jim (Julie) Boland and Michelle (Matt) MacDonald. Papa Joe will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Callum and Everly, as well as, his loving companion Phyllis Pfeifer. He is survived by his sister Geri Boland. Joe is predeceased by his parents Clement and Hilda Boland. Joe will be fondly remembered by his family who will continue to farm in his honour.
Joe was a simple man with great faith in the Lord. He loved the land and adored his family. Joe’s family takes peace in knowing that he is no longer suffering and is now in the care of the Lord and enjoying his time in heaven as he is rejoined with his parents, relatives and friends.
There will be a private family gathering to take place at a later date. As expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society of London.
