It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Maryln (Cheetham) Smallman. Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at Queensway Carleton Hospital. Nov 2 ,2021.
Joan was in her 84th year beloved wife and best friend of Donald P Smallman for 60+ years . Loving mother of Shane Katherine ( Coates ) and Michael Smallman. Special granny of Trent ,Damon, Corbin, Brittany, Ocean ,Samuel Zachary , Fe, and great granny to Jackson. Joan was a strong caring registered nurse, she was deeply loved and will be sorely missed.
Family and friends may visit the West Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 150 Woodroffe Ave. ( at Richmond Road) on Monday, November 8 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Service in the Chapel at 2:00 p.m. Following COVID Protocol the family has requested that attendance be only available to fully vaccinated guests and will be strictly limited to registered guests.
