Jeremey’s Obituary
It is with saddened and heavy hearts that we announce the unexpected passing of Jeremey Daniel John Nicholas Rousseau. Jeremey was born on February 12, 1975 to Dolores May Krusky and Daniel Rousseau and passed away peacefully on November 27, 2020 with his mother Dolores Krusky, brothers Joshua Rousseau and Andrew Tjeltveit (Jasmin), sister Kristie Howe (Derek) and his Stepfather Lars Tjeltveit by his side. He is predeceased by his father Daniel Rousseau, Grandparents John and Pauline Rousseau, Uncle Claude Rousseau, Aunt Rene Willfred, and Grandfather Nick Krusky. Jeremey will be forever missed by his mother Dolores May Krusky; sister Kristie (Derek) Howe and two nieces and two nephews; brothers Joshua Rousseau and Andrew (Jazmin) Tjeltveit and all niece and nephew. Jeremy will also be dearly remembered by his grandmother Marge Krusky-Gorgerat and step-grandfather Ambrose Gorgerat, as well as many aunts and uncles: Aunt Myrna (Gary) Setrum and four cousins; Aunt Lynda Krusky and five cousins; Aunt Annette (Mike) Johnson and four cousins; Aunt Francine Rousseau and three cousins; Aunt Val Rousseau and three cousins; and Uncle Greg Willford and four cousins. Jeremy had a great big heart and loved his family. He was also loved by his many friends! His character and personality filled the room when he was around family. He especially loved to tease his family in an attempt to get a mischievous debate going which never ceased to make him smile. He was very good at protecting his cousins at parties and group events ensuring their safety in a non-violent way. As a teenager, Jeremy was very active in track and field and also played for Assiniboia Rockets football team in Assiniboia, Saskatchewan. As a young man he had many passions and was always thinking of new projects. Being a farm boy, Jeremy started driving at an early age, he loved his trucks, cars, boats, skidoos, and dune buggies. Jeremy also love to travel! Jeremy finally found the place that he loved the most, British Columbia and its countryside. He lived his many years in Okanagan Valley. He would often invite his family members to visit him and would show them a wonderful time by sharing the great treasures of where he lived. Due to Covid Jeremy was laid off and moved to Vancouver to find work. He worked for the Teamsters, shuttling actors to their sets and drove movie sets around to their locations by semi! Jeremy said it was the best job he has ever had. He loved meeting new people and live his life with a positive attitude. During his busy and active life, he still found time to call home, to speak with his mother, Dolores, at least three times a week. He can be described as a Warrior from God! Due to Covid-19 restrictions a service will be held at a later date.In living memory of Jeremey, a memorial planting will be made by Jones – Parkview Funeral Services.
