Peacefully, surrounded by loving family, on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Bluewater Health, James “Jim” Edward Kerrigan passed away at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Leila “Lee” Kerrigan. Loving father of Nicole Archer and her husband Squid, Eric Kerrigan and his wife Tracy, Jennifer Nemes and her husband David, and Angela Hanley. Cherished grandfather of Allison, Colin, Briar, Reid, Jack, Sam, Kealan, and Noah. Survived by his sister-in-law Annette (Gerry) Coffin and brother-in-law Moe Beaudet. Fondly remembered by his circle of friends. Predeceased by his wife Thérèse “Terry” (1996), parents John and Agnes, and his sister Patricia. Jim was the former co-owner of Douglas Keddy Shoes and was also a well known car salesman at Parklane Motors for several years. Jim will be remembered for his passion and love for the sport of golf, both for playing and watching it. Jim loved; travelling, a good card game, a quality shoe, and bright clothing. He will be loved and missed by all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A private memorial mass will be held. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Parkinson Canada, St. Joseph’s Hospice, or a charity of your choice (cheques mailed to the funeral home or made online, please).
