Obituary
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ina (Clark) Sinclair on February 6, 2021 at Bobby’s Hospice, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in MacDonald’s Point, New Brunswick on June 26, 1938 to the late Roland and Elsie (MacDonald) Clark.
Ina was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Her adored husband of 56 years passed away in March of 2020, and her family is now comforted knowing that Bill and Ina have been reunited.
In earlier years, Ina enjoyed swimming and skating, picking strawberries and working for a local farmer packing tomatoes. Ina was a talented singer, and she sang on stage with musicians at the local halls. When Ina was old enough, she worked at several jobs in Saint John, including the Riv Restaurant, MRA’s and several other establishments prior to meeting the love of her life, Bill. Ina and Bill married and began a family and after she worked various jobs, they began the family business of Galaxy World Arcades in Loch Lomond and Prince Edward Square Malls. These were some of Ina’s happiest times. Ina loved people, especially children. Entertaining and hosting were part of her character. Her door was always open, and she welcomed everyone, friends and family alike. Family and many friends would talk about their troubles with Ina; she always had a shoulder to cry on and never shied away from giving advice. Family dinners and Christmas were special times in the Sinclair household. These were those occasions where everyone was able to enjoy their time together while eating the very best homemade meals. She created a lot of lasting memories that her family will forever cherish. She was taken far too soon and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Ina is survived by her children, Daniel Sinclair (Jan) and Arlene Palmer (Joel); three granddaughters, Arly Palmer, Jayleen and Julia Taylor; sisters, Nancy MacDonald, Jean Fowler, Esther Davis (Murray), Elizabeth Stockford (Earl) and Rena Urquart (Gordon); brother, James Clark (Gloria); as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Along with her parents, Ina was predeceased by her husband Bill.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) Due to regulations from public health a visitation service will be held for the immediate family. Interment will be held in the spring at MacDonald’s Point Cemetery in Wickham.
