ELLIS, Howard Christopher – Passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at 3:45 with his loving wife Joanne of 15 years by his side. He was 73 years of age. Son of the late Frank Ellis and Dorothy Ellis. Much loved brother of Dora Ellis and Dawn (Bill) Hayman and dear nephew of Myrtle Morningstar. He will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. He will also be greatly missed by his step children Racquel (Wayne) Zimmerman, Richard (Erin) Roy, Melissa (Jordan) Godden and Michael (Amy) Roy and step grandchildren Cody, Cameron and Caylee Zimmerman, Ethan, Owen and Emma Roy, Jacob Godden and Alice and Mavis Roy. He will also be sadly missed by his sister-in-law Loree (Henry Janes), as she affectionately called him “Buddy”. Predeceased by his siblings: Donna Montgomery, Delilia Ellis, Frank Ellis Junior, Doreen Ellis and Dorothy Ellis Junior. The family extends a sincere thanks to Dr. Dooler, the nurses and PSW’S that were there daily to help, along with his wife Joanne and along with their friends for support. We look forward to the time when the bible promises us in Revelation 21:3,4 « There will be no dyeing or pain. The former things will have passed away ». Cremation has taken place with arrangements entrusted to the H. L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland.
