It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Doris Riddell (nee Bridgman) on Monday, September 6, 2021 peacefully with her family by her side. Helen was born March 12, 1942, predeceased by her husband Kenneth John (Butch) Riddell. Lovingly remembered by her children; Kim Harnden, Dwayne Riddell (Georgia) and Trish Marchment. Greatly missed by her grandchildren; Carly (Adrian), Alyssa (Justin) and Marcy (Brandon), great-grandchildren; Carter, Miles and Ellery. Lovingly remembered by David (Buck) Harnden. Survived by her Brothers; Keith Bridgman, Walker (Sonny) and Lorene Bridgman and Sister Janice Bridgman and brother-in-law Don Mackay. Predeceased by Willard (Lorna), Vern (Mamie), Norma (Wilf), John (Bertha), Lois (Stewart), Sheila and sister-in-law Doreen. Fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews.
As per Helen’s wishes, there will be no service. A private family internment will be held.
The Family would like to thank the LNIH, Acclaim Health, Milton District Hospital, and Dr. Jessica Osumek. A special thank-you to Ian Anderson House in Oakville for the care and kindness they provided Helen.
In memory of Helen donations may be made to Ian Anderson House Hospice.
