Bernacki, Helen
Peacefully passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, with her family by her side, at Hillsdale Estates, at the age of 95. Predeceased by her beloved husband George (1983) and her daughter Mary Huk (2017). Loving mother of Steve (Anna), Michael (Christine) and Anne (Orest) Jakym and mother-in-law of Bob Huk. Cherished grandmother of 6 and great-grandmother of 7. Helen will be missed by her family in Canada and Poland.
Helen enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, dancing, animals and spending time with family and friends. Special thanks to the staff of Lavender Lane at Hillsdale Estates.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 6-9 p.m. with Panachyda at 7:30 p.m. at the Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St. George the Great Martyr Ukrainian Catholic Church.
