Roy passed away peacefully
with his loving family by his
side, on Sunday, December 5,
2021, at the age of 87, in the
care of Oak Ridges Hospice,
Port Perry. Loving Husband
of the Late Norma. He will
be forever missed by his
daughters, Kerry (Ken),
Brenda (Tom) and Linda (late
Stephen), along with his
grandchildren, Dan (Nicole),
Jessie (Chase), Andrew
(Ashley), Joshua (Kayla), his
eight great-grandchildren and
his brothers and sisters down
East and out West.
Although born a Bluenoser, he
made wherever he was,
Home. Roy worked for most of
his life at Ontario Hydro/OPG
starting as a welder before
becoming a trainer, where his
gift for making people feel at
ease really shone. Roy made
friends wherever he went.
The family
has asked that only those that
are vaccinated attend.
Visitation Details: We are celebrating
Roy’s life at the Accettone
Funeral Home, 384 Finley
Avenue, Ajax on Saturday,
December 11, 2021 from
1:00 p.m till 3:00 pm.
Donation Details: In lieu of flowers, Remem-
brances may be made to the
Heart and Stroke Foundation,
Canadian Cancer Society or
Oak Ridges Hospice, Port
Perry. Online condolences
may be made to the family on
the Accettone Funeral Home
Website.
Interment Details: Cremation has taken place.
