It is with sad hearts that we announce the tragic passing of
Hayden Thomas Nash, a member of St. Mary’s First Nation and of Durham
Bridge NB. Born in Fredericton NB he was the son of Thomas Fred Nash
(Lynn Hanson) and Nicole Poirier and special god mother Anne Marie
Landry (Late Eugene Landry).
Hayden loved being outdoors, especially being on his wheeler
and skidoo. He enjoyed hunting and spending time with his friends and
family.
Besides his parents he is survived by his brothers and
sisters; Bobby Munn, Tasha Nash, Ashley Nash (Chance Marshall), Maddy
Nash (Jacob St. Peter), special neice Aubrey St. Peter, stepbrothers
and sister; Mary Washburn, Johnny and Tyler Washburn. Paternal
grandmother Shirley Ladds, maternal grandparents; Wilfred and Delores
Poirier. Aunts and uncles; Ann Scott (Terry), Simon Nash, Cindy Nash,
Bonnie Nash, Brian Nash (Bridgette), Adam Nash, Stephen Nash (Jenn)
and Gordon Nash (Sue), Lacey (Rene Bosse) and Matthew Poirier (Erin
Jewett) as well as numerous cousins, nieces, and
nephews.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Stephen Jr.
Nash, and uncle Gordon Nash
Hayden will be resting at the Maqiyahtimok
Center 240 Maliseet Drive St. Mary’s First Nation with
visitation beginning Sunday August 15th at 12 Noon until Tuesday
August 17th. A celebration of Hayden’s life will be held at
the Maqiyahtimok Center at 11 AM with Elder Imelda Perley
officiating. A reception Will follow at the St.
Mary’s Entertainment Center. Interment Will be
Wednesday August 18th at 11 AM in St Anthony’s
Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Maston Scott, Bobby Munn, Johnny
Washburn, Jacob St. Peter, Isaac Hodgin and Jeffrey
Nash.
Donation’s in Hayden’s Memory may be made
at St Mary’s First Nation care of Tommy Nash beginning
Monday, August 16th to help support the family.
