In his 89th year, Harry passed away peacefully, after a prolonged illness. Married for 64 wonderful years, he lost the love of his life, Conny Johnson a few short months ago, in February. Harry was raised on the farm and spent much of his time and career working with the farming community. He always enjoyed the outdoors, his garden, music, cooking and the love of family. At any given moment he would break into song, which was a joy to those around him. Harry and Conny were always involved in their local church and choir, most recently at Central United Church in Sarnia, and many years at Forest United Church. He enjoyed singing with the Silvertones and also was involved with community theatre. He loved people and enjoyed fixing things. For many years he was the owner of Harry’s Vaccum in Sarnia.
He will be missed by his family, extended family, beloved nephews and nieces; daughters Michele (Jim) Breyer of Dresden, Sue Willoughby, Ocala Florida; daughter-in-law Penny Johnson; sister Betty (Jack) Southen, brother Allen Johnson, sisters-in-law Joanne (Gary) Lusk, Marjorie Johnson, grandchildren Jeff Breyer, Cynthia (Dan) Hooyer; Kevin (Taylor) Breyer, Evelyn Breyer and Mario, Jason Johnson, Chris (Lindsay Jo) Johnson, Mellisa (Ethan McLean) Johnson, Joshua (Sarah) Willoughby, Shaun Willoughby, Andrew Willoughby and great-grandchildren, Logan Breyer, Shepard Hooyer, Grayson Johnson, Brady Johnson, Foy Willoughby and Rae Sorensen.
Predeceased by parents Lloyd and Edith Johnson, siblings Howard Johnson, Ken Johnson, son Brad Johnson, son-in-law Paul Willoughby, sister-in-law Betty Briscoe.
