1937-2021
Harley Ellsworth Lutz – 84, of Windermere, passed
away on Monday, June 21, 2021 in Valley Hospice, Kentville. Harley was
very happy there. He settled in nicely and enjoyed all the staff. Born
in Lake George, he was the only son of Frank and Della (Taylor) Lutz.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Lutz, Windermere; step-daughter,
Semone, Morristown; sisters, Barb (Frank) Legge, Kentville; Doris
(Bruce) Clark, Berwick; Glena (David) Mahar, Parker Road, Aylesford;
and extended family. Aside from picking apples in the United States,
Harley worked most of his life doing farm work in many areas of the
Valley until sustaining an injury that did not allow him to work
anymore. He loved playing guitar and talking to his squirrels, Hoppy
and Wimpy, who he spoke to every time they came to the door of his
home. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday, June
27, 2021 in the Morristown Cemetery, Kings County, Pastor Chad
Clements, Pastor Paul Matthews and Pastor Duane Phillips officiating.
Donations in Harley’s memory may be made to the Heart and
Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society o Valley Hospice. Funeral
arrangements have been entrusted to the White Family Funeral Home and
