Obituary of Guy Bishop
Passed peacefully away at his home, surrounded by family and friends on Sunday, February 7, 2021, Guy Bishop of Blackhead, age 82 years.
Predeceased by wife: Judith ‘Judy’; infant daughter; parents: Ern and Janie.
Leaving to mourn, partner: Peggy Hoskins; three daughters: Kellie Bishop, Bryant’s Cove; Danielle (Chad) Rideout and Tara (Jeff) Kelly, both of Paradise; four precious grandchildren: Emily and her father Steve, Rachel, Sydney, and Laura; one brother: Emrys (Edith); one sister: Marie Oakley; members of the Colbert and Frampton families; special friends: Berkley LeGrow, Riv Laing, Jody Clarke and Brandon Clarke; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a private visitation will take place at Noel’s Funeral Home, Western Bay, followed by Funeral Service on Thursday, February 11 from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, by invitation only. Cremation to follow. Interment in Blackhead United Cemetery on Saturday, February 13.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Blackhead United Cemetery Fund, c/o David Hollett, RR1, Site 6, Box 22, Adams Cove, NL, A1Y 1C6 or to the North Shore Central Ambulance, PO Box 159, Broad Cove, NL, A0A 1L0.
