With heavy hearts and tremendous sadness Greta’s family announces her peaceful passing due to complications from Covid-19 on Sunday, February 14, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Neville. Treasured mother and mother-in-law of David and Sarah, Philip and Rachel. She leaves behind her grandchildren Jeffrey and Samantha; and great-grandchildren Lauren, and Haylee. Daughter of the late Saul and the late Lena Lipson. Predeceased by her brother Stanley Lipson, and her sisters and brothers-in-law Sophie and Moe Shapiro, Lil and Jack Wiseman, Thelma and Manny Greenblatt, Phyllis and Sammy Engelberg. She will be missed by her nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and friends. Special adopted mother and Bubbie to the Lanner family. Thank you to the Covid Care Unit 9K at the Jewish General Hospital and to Lara from the 6th floor Geriatric Unit, all for their exceptional care. A private graveside service will take place.
