Obituary
It is with great sadness and heartache that we announce the passing of our loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, Gladys Musil. Gladys was born in Natal, BC on March 8, 1925 to John and Bessie Hudock. Gladys was the oldest of four children; brother Robert, who passed away very early in life, and loving sisters Margaret (Chatterson) and Evelyn (Henriet). Gladys is survived by her daughter Phyllis (Alfredo) Berdusco, and her son Barry Musil; and her loving grandchildren: Kara (Jeremy), Kayla (Jason), Tyrel (Tiana), Ethan (Austyn) and Aaron; and great grandchildren: Carl, Thomas, Sonya, Travis and Leah. Sadly, Gladys was pre-deceased by her husband Philip Musil, and sons Doug Musil and John Musil.
Gladys was a very kind and caring person whose biggest joys in life were being around all of her big and extended family and many friends. Gladys happily spent her life on the family farm with her dear husband Phil. Gladys was a great cook, baker and was an avid reader her whole life. She also enjoyed going to Sparwood Seniors and playing cribbage for many, many years. Gladys will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to take this opportunity to thank all the caregivers at Rocky Mountain Village where she was given such excellent and loving care by all during her stay there.
