George Joseph Kadilak was born in Macklin, Saskatchewan on October 14, 1945 to George and Elizabeth Kadilak. George was the younger brother to sister Jean Akre.
He grew up in Provost, Alberta where he completed his grade 12 diploma in 1964. After graduation George worked for Sask Wheat Pool in Unity, Saskatchewan. He was later transferred to the Sask Wheat Pool in Kindersley. In 1965 George met Victoria Weinkauf in Provost, Alberta. They married September 11, 1967 in Kindersley, Saskatchewan and were married for 53 years.
After they were married, they moved to Pinkham, Saskatchewan in 1967 where George worked as a manager (agent) of the Sask Wheat Pool Elevator. Their first child was a son named Cory who was born on July 16, 1972. George was then transferred to the Brock Wheat Pool in 1973. On June 4, 1975 they had a daughter named Dana.
Three years later George, Vicki and family moved to Ridgedale, Saskatchewan where the lived and farmed until 1988. They moved to Tisdale, Saskatchewan yet continued to farm from town until 2000 selling all farmland in 2015. George continued his love for farming as a laborer working for several farmers before settling down and working closer to home for Robert Haller up until the time of his passing.
George passed away peacefully July 15, 2021 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the age of 75 years.

George leaves to mourn his beloved wife, Vicki Kadilak; son Cory (Robyn) and granddaughter Alexis, grandson Reis; daughter Dana (Jason) and granddaughters Shaylin and Mckenzie. He leaves behind his brother-in-law Allan Akre (Sybil), niece Laurie (Dave) and daughters Janelle and Shania, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
George was predeceased by his parents George and Elizabeth Kadilak, sister Jean Akre, nephew Brian Akre, and numerous uncles and aunts.
