It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our uncle, George Hillier on Saturday, November 13, 2021, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Herbert and Mary (Bonnell) Hillier.
After retirement as a Stainless Steel Fabricator in Toronto, George moved back to the Mira area.
He is survived by his nephews and nieces, Lloyd and Linda, Ray and Elizabeth, Janet and Bob, Ronald, Richard and Barb and Jamie, as well as his sister-in-law, Clara Hillier.
Besides his parents, George was predeceased by his brother, Calvin and sister, Joan.
A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
