ROY, Geneviève (née Lemieux)
It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury on Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the age of 95 years. Daughter of the late Nelson Lemieux and Irma (née Viens). Predeceased by her husband Alphonse Roy. Loving mother of Suzanne Hein (Dwight), Claude (Carey) and Pierre (Kim Morris) (predeceased by her daughter-in-law Ginette in 1998 married to Pierre). Dear sister of Leonard (Henriette) and Rita Nash (Pat). Predeceased by her siblings Rodolph (late Jeanne), Gérald (late Jeannine), Norman (late Pauline), Lucille Davies, Jérome (late Reina), Pauline Wissell (late Ovide), Mona Charbonneau, Philip (late Murielle), Denise Marion (late Robert), Evelyne Craig and Deanna. Cherished grandmother of Jeff, Jennifer, Darryl, Randy, David, Jacques, Danive and Alin. Proud great-grandmother of 14. In her later years, Geneviève enjoyed travelling with her sisters, knitting, crocheting, reading and computer games. She will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humour.
