Gene Edward Williams
(August 22, 1946 – April 5, 2021)
Gene Edward Williams of New Norway, Alberta, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021, at the age of 74 years.
Left to cherish his memory are his children Todd (Mary) of Camrose, Steven (Denise) of New Norway, Tim of Whitecourt, and Sheryne (Michael) Van Petten of Kelsey; five grandchildren; brothers Keith (Vi) of Edson, and Neal of Edmonton; and brother-in-law Alick McArthur of Kelsey; sister-in-law Darlene (Gerry) Paine of Busby; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Gene was predeceased by his wife Marie; parents Harold and Claudia; sister Loveigh McArthur; father-in-law Orville; and mother-in-law Amy.
A private family service will be held. For those who would like to pay their respects, please do so at Gene’s grave after 3:00 p.m., Friday, April 9, 2021, at the New Norway Cemetery. Proceed through the south entrance and continue east until you find the grave on the south side of the road.
If family and friends so desire, memorial contributions in Gene’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Alberta, or to the Parkinson Association of Alberta.
