At Bluewater Health Sarnia on Tuesday, April 6, 2021, Gail Sharon (Prudom) Winter, age 77, of Petrolia, formerly of the Camlachie area, loving wife of Ronald Winter for 52 years. Daughter of the late Floyd and Dorothy (Maw) Prudom. Daughter-in-law of the late G. Francis and Eileen Winter. Mother of Duane, Darryl (Lisa), Curt and Kyle. Grandmother of Nicole (Iain Douglas), Celine Leblanc, Reilly Winter (Paul Sowinski), Ryan Winter and Rebecca Winter. Great grandmother of Charlotte Douglas. Survived by her Aunt June and siblings James Prudom (Deborah Don Carlos), Linda Prudom, Karen Madsen (Ben), R. John Smith (Janet), late LeRoy Smith (Gwen), brother-in-law Ross Winter and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Gail enjoyed her life on the farm raising a family, being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She followed in her parents ways for the love of family, church and travelling. The family would like to thank all those who cared for mom, the many special caregivers, doctors, and nurses over the past few years. Sympathy may be expressed through memorial donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, and ALS Canada (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis).
