Mrs. Freda Ingram of Carleton Place, Ontario passed away in her sleep on Monday, March 22, 2021, after a brief illness.
Born in 1923, Freda grew up in Dundry, England, just outside of Bristol. She would have turned 98 in July. Freda served in the RAF during WW II and was stationed around Britain and in the Mideast. She married Derek Ingram, originally from Kenilworth, England. The couple emigrated to Canada in the early 70s, eventually settling in Carleton Place. Her love of animals made Mrs. Ingram a very active fundraiser for the Lanark Animal Welfare Society (LAWS).
She will be greatly missed by her daughter Louise and grandchildren Matt, Jess, and Beka. Freda has five great-grandchildren, Aedan, Tegan, Nicola, Fiona, and Rylie. Freda was predeceased by her husband Derek, sister Elsie and brothers Hugh, Frank and John.
