HARTWIG, Franklin Delmar
June 1, 1940 – October 17, 2021
Passed away peacefully at the Pembroke Regional Hospital on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the age of 81. Son of the late Helen (Kuehl) and Andrew Hartwig. Lovingly remembered by his children Delmer, Barbara (Kevin), David (Lori), Dean (Veronica), Penny (Jimmy) and their mother Mona Wills.
He was a loving grandfather to Franky, Ian, Amanda, Michael, William, Callie, Mackenzie, Jamie, Andrew and Erika.
Franklin will be sadly missed and remembered by his dear friend Teresa Peplinskie.
Memories of his life and accomplishments will be remembered by his many friends and extended family.
Franklin’s final care has been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Killaloe where friends and family may come to pay their respects on Thursday, October 21, 2021 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8pm and again Friday morning from 9:30 – 10:45am. Due to the COVID-19 capacity limits a private family service will be held in the funeral home chapel. All are welcome to Emmanuel Baptist Cemetery at 12pm noon for a Graveside Service. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation in memory of Franklin.
