MEDICINE SHIELD, FRANKLIN & TERRI. It is with great sadness that the family announce that Babies Franklin and Terri Medicine Shield (twins) of Siksika Nation passed away peacefully April 1, 2021. Baby boy Franklin and Baby girl Terri are survived by their mother Sasha Medicine Shield and father Veno Wondimu. Two brothers Julian and McKennon Medicine Shield, and sister Theresa Medicine Shield. Their Grandparents Evangeline and Joseph Leather and Dave Aberdeen. Great Aunt Yvonne (Rufus) Pretty Youngman. Uncles Shawn and David Medicine Shield, Aunts Laura (Gerald) Medicine Shield, Rowena (Jerott) Mark, Lacey (Brain) Labelle. The babies were predeceased by their grandmother Theresa Medicine Shield, Uncles Frankie Medicine Shield and Terry Medicine Shield. The babies will be brought home to their Grandparents residence Joseph and Evangeline Leather, on April 17, 2021, at 8:00 am. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Siksika Nation. The Twins will be buried at the Washington Cemetery. Family and Friends are invited to a drive-by feast at Joseph and Evangeline’s residence.
