Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Tuesday, December 14th, 2021, Frank Arthur Shea, aged 50 years. Predeceased by his Dad Hughie and his brother Cleary – loved ones who have already passed away. Leaving to mourn with many fond and loving memories his mother Rose Marie; brothers Hugh and Paul; nieces Erin, and Charlotte; nephew Jack; sister-in-law Shelley; special family including all Aunts, and cousins from Mayor Avenue and Gosling Street; and all those who shined having him in their lives. Those who in years past played softball at the corner field of McPherson School, to those who joined us playing Red Rover. Frank was the young one on hand and always giving his best! Or playing Hide & Seek when younger with our nuclear and extended family on Mayor Avenue. Our world has lost a warm light and astute, sharp as a tack man who lived, and gave many of us laughter to ache the stomach, shedding tears of joy. He always gave a helping hand whenever needed, and many times gave his help when not sought, but seeing his help was needed. He was a talented artist, cultivating many fine drawings and paintings. He was a friend, and a fine man with qualities that enhanced both him, and those who knew him, endearing the hearts of those who were blessed with his presence. He picked up guitar, and was eager to learn as his time passed, even with the troubles that have taken his life. We shed tears longing for his presence, wishing he wasn’t gone at such a young age; at any age. Our thoughts always nurture warmth for him, his smile, his presence, his insights, and his humor. His sense of humor was stellar and his abilities many. We are heart broken with the loss of our brother, his mothers son, uncle to his nieces, and nephew, as well as his cousins. It is with truly sorrowful hearts that we share he has died peacefully leaving many to languish his loss. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors on Thursday, December 16th, 2021 from 2 p.m – 4 p.m and 7 p.m – 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 17th, 2021 at 2 p.m from Caul’s chapel with inurnment to follow at Belvedere Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
