Francois «Tikank» Mazerolle
1957-2021
RICHIBUCTO, NB – It is with great sadness that the
family announces the peaceful passing of François
«Tikank» Mazerolle, 64, of Richibucto, at the Stella Maris
Hospital, Ste. Anne-de-Kent on Monday, November
29th, 2021. Born in Rexton, he was the son of
the late Armand and Stella (Kelly) Mazerolle. Before his sickness
caused him to retire, Tikank worked as a fisherman and at the lobster
transformation plants.
Tikank leaves to mourn his loving wife, Nicole Robichaud; his
three sons, André of Richibucto, Jean-François
(Cynthia) of St. Louis and Mathieu of Cocagne; as well as his two
grandchildren, Janie and Devon.
Tikank will also be sadly missed by his step-father, Ross
Mumford of Richibucto; his sister, Joanne Robichaud (Ronald) of
Richibucto; his two brothers, Leonard Mazerolle (Lise) of Richibucto
and Robert Mazerolle (Ruth) of Richibouctou-Village; his
sister-in-law, Debbie Mazerolle (late Norm) of Richibucto;
brother-in-law, Francis Martin (late Maria) of Aldouane; as well as
his many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Tikank was predeceased by his sister,
Maria Martin, infant sister, Aline and his brother,
Normand.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home,
Richibucto on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00pm and Friday from 9:00am
until departure for the funeral. A funeral mass will be celebrated on
Friday, December 3rd, 2021 at 11:00am, St.
Louis-de-Gonzague Roman Catholic Church, Richibucto.
Following provincial COVID-19 regulations, visitors will be
required to provide proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and
government issued ID at the funeral home and church, masks are
mandatory and we ask that social distancing is
respected.
