Peacefully at his home on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at the age of 99. Beloved husband of the late Emilia Jaromamay (nee Sollano).
Loving father of Chichi Jaromamay-Hodgson (David). Cherished and proud grandfather of his grandchildren, Francis and Patrick. Predeceased by his parents Anastacio & Teofila Jaromamay (nee Dineros).
Frank was born in Sorsogon, Philippines and moved to Cebu City to start his career as a serviceman of the Philippine Air Force. He became a lawyer and worked in the Bureau of Internal Revenue, Philippines ending up as a diplomat and Revenue Attache in the Embassy of the Philippines (1975-1981, Ottawa). He was a Grand Knight with the Knights Of Columbus of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish Capitol, Cebu City, Philippines and a member of the Knights of Columbus, Divine Infant Council (Orleans, Ontario).
The funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, 400 St. Laurent Blvd. on Monday, September 13, 2021 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 2757 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans. There will be no visitation. Following Covid protocol, attendance will be by invitation only.
