Botta, Francesco
Passed away peacefully at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at the age of 80 years. Francesco was the beloved husband of Vincenza for 54 years, Loving father of Luigi (Terry) and Caterina Da Costa (George), and cherished Nonno of Francesco, Alessandro, Mariella and Antonio. He was the dear brother of the late Angelo (Franca), the late Donato (the late Anna), the late Vincenzo (Liliana), the late Rosa Floro (Salvatore), the late Giuseppe (Crescenza) and Isabella Botta. Much loved brother-in-law of Carmela Nocente (Francesco) and Rosetta Battaglia (Pasquale). Predeceased by his parents Luigi and Caterina Botta and father and mother-in-law Pasquale and Anna Mariella. Francesco will be fondly remembered and missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in Canada and abroad. Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 454 Highway #8 (east of Millen Road) STONEY CREEK (905-664-4222) on Sunday, July 25, 2021 from 3-5 and 6-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church, 165 Prospect Street North, Hamilton on Monday, July 26, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Burlington. In accordance with provincial regulations, there is a limit to the number of visitors who may attend at one time.
