Obituary of Faye Dahlseide
Faye Ann Dahlseide (nee Barnard) passed away peacefully at the U of A hospital on September 21, 2021 at the age of 68 years. She took her last breathes with her daughters by her side.
Tarry and Faye are survived by: Tarry’s mother, Gladys Dahlseide; their two children, Tanya (Henry) Kasdorf and Talina (Glen) Sunderland; 5 grandchildren, Kiera Sunderland (Daine), Matthew Sunderland (Lexie), Dori Sunderland (Riley), Bauer Kasdorf, and Jace Kasdorf. Tarry’s brothers, Dwane (Barb) Dahlseide and Barry (Eileen) Dahlseide, sister, Georgina (Mark) Cowan and Devon (Nathalie) Dahlseide. Faye’s sister, Ruth Getzinger; as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Tarry and Faye are predeceased by: Faye’s father, Henry Barnard and mother, Frieda Barnard; Tarry’s father, Kenneth Dahlseide; his sister, Debbie Dahlseide; and their granddaughter, Jennifer Kasdorf.
There will be a combined public come and go Viewing that will be held at McCaw Funeral Chapel on Thursday, September 23 from 7pm until 8pm. Their combined Celebration of Life service will be held at Paradise Valley Cemetery in Paradise Valley, Alberta on Friday, September 24 at 2pm. We ask that everyone bring lawn chairs and please remember to wear masks to follow Covid-19 protocols for both events. If you are unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed and posted on McCaw Funeral Service website under Tarry & Faye’s obituary at the time of service.
Donations, in lieu of flowers and in memory of Tarry and Faye, may be made to Olive Tree Community Centre in Lloydminster or Paradise Valley Fire Department.
