Obituary of Eva Lillian King
Passed peacefully away in the presence of loving family at Pte. Josiah Squibb Memorial Pavilion, Carbonear on Friday, June 4, 2021, Eva Lillian King of Blackhead, age 102 years.
Predeceased by husband: Ralph; son: Leonard; great-granddaughter: Jennifer; parents: Leonard and Elizabeth Moores; brothers: Stanley, William, and Eric; sister: Sadie.
Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Judy (Terry) Oliver, Blackhead; four sons: Harvey (Elvia), Perry’s Cove, Stanley (Wendy), Bay Roberts, Reginald (Hilda), Blackhead, and Wesley (Robena), Adam’s Cove; daughter-in-law: Edna, Victoria; seventeen grandchildren: Lillian, Leonard, Paulette, Wayne, Jackie, Keith, Debbie, Tammy, Cynthia, Juanita, Glen, Valetta, Jimmy, Sarah, Heather, Neil, and Adam; twenty great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; brother: George ‘Junior’ Moores, CBS; sisters-in-law: Margaret Moores and Dianne Moores, both of Ontario; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Monday, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, June 8 from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Western Bay, by invitation only. Interment in the Gospel Hall Cemetery, Carbonear.
