It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearly loved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle, Ervin Earl Watts, on November 1st, 2021 at the Cowichan District Hospital in Duncan, BC.
Ervin is survived by his wife, Jeanne, children, Willie (Marilou), David (Teresa), Lorraine (Robert), & Bob (Nikki), grandchildren, Breanna (Matt), Jessica, Mike (Holly), Tom (Robyn), Amanda (Brad), Robert (Christina) & Nathaniel, great-grandchildren, Braedon, Emily, Hannah, Chase & Gus, along with several nieces & nephews that were very dear to him.
Ervin was born December 29th, 1934 in Grandforks, BC, to Lucille & Woodrow Watts and was one of four children. He was a carpenter by trade and a master at his craft. He retired from the Crown Zellerbach Paper Mill, Elk Falls Division in Campbell River in 1996 and once retired, was able to devote more time to family and further enjoy his many passions including all things planes, trains and wrestling.
At Ervin’s request, there will be no Celebration of Life. He will be cremated and laid to rest with his predeceased first wife, Ardella and their daughter, Christine Watts, at the Campbell River Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Memory of Ervin to the BC Cancer Foundation.
