ERIC ANTHONY BIONDA
JUNE 30, 1943 – JULY 23, 2021
It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of
Eric Bionda on July 23, 2021 at the Algonquin Nursing Home in Mattawa, Ontario. He was the son of Norma Bionda (deceased 1998) and brother to Ted (Susan), Uncle to Stephanie, Paul (Laura) and great uncle to Avery Bionda.
Eric was raised by St. Clair and Mary Wright (deceased) along with Jim (Janine) Wright, Brenda (Verdie – deceased) Sawyer, Betty (Michael – deceased) Skien, Jean (Ron – deceased) Clarke, Karen (Ron) Wright and Willie along with many nieces and nephews.
Eric attended All Saints Anglican Church where he was an alter boy and sang in the church choir. He also showed off his great singing voice at the Nursing Home by entertaining the residents. He was employed at the Empire Hotel as a Bell Hop. Eric was also an avid fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs and well known for his knowledge of all statistics in sports. He was a Boy Scout and helped out with the Huntsville Hawks Lacrosse Teams.
