Dorathea Emke went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 3, 2021, in Kelowna British Columbia at the age of 102.
She was born December 24, 1918, in Grenfell, Saskatchewan. She lived in Edmonton AB, Whitecourt AB, Lethbridge AB, and then Kelowna BC
She was a hard-working, dedicated mother her whole life.
Dorathea is survived by her son Erwin Emke in Calgary; sister Alma Mann (nee Hahn) in Edmonton, and brother Edward Hahn in Edmonton.
A Visitation will take place on Monday, July 12, 2021, from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM.
There will be a Graveside Service Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at 10:30 AM at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery, 1991 Bernard Ave with Reverend Gord Fletcher officiating.
