After struggling with POLG- Mitochondrial Disorder, our precious little angel Emil Sylvain Lacelle passed away in the embrace of his parents on Monday, October 4th, 2021 at the Roger Neilson House in Ottawa at the age of one. Beloved son of Luc Lacelle and Cindylynn Lacelle (née Van De Ligt) of Cornwall. Loving brother Emery Lacelle and Sophia Lacelle. Treasured grandson of Jacques Lacelle and Marielle Lacelle (née Menard) of Cornwall and Henry Van De Ligt and Diane Van De Ligt (née Samson) of Bainsville. Treasured great-grandson of Fernand Samson and Jacqueline Samson (née Vachon) of Bainsville. Precious Godson of and Rens Trommels and Valerie Trommels (née Samson) of South Glengarry. Cherished nephew of Patrick Lacelle (Melanie Mecteau) of Cantley, Quebec and Randy Van De Ligt (Emily Marleau) of Lancaster. Dear cousin of Isabelle, Sarah, Ayden and Dilana. At the family’s request Funeral Services will be private. In Emil’s memory donations to Mito Canada or to the Roger Nielson House would be appreciated by the family.
