Obituary of Elinor Moores
Passed away after a short illness at her residence, on Wednesday, August 4, 2021, Elinor Moores of Carbonear, age 80 years.
Predeceased by husband: Reginald; parents: Aubrey and Sarah Case; sister: Irene (Lloyd) Walsh; brother: Arthur.
Leaving to mourn her two loving children, son: Jason (Shauna), New Hampshire, USA; daughter: Sheryl (Troy) Dove, Carbonear; her five precious and treasured grandchildren: Lochlan, Brynley, Ashton, Draven, and Mia; brother: Lorne (Peggy) Case, Salmon Cove; sister: Edna (Bob) Moore, Carbonear; many other family members and a wide circle of friends.
At Elinor’s request, cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation.
A celebration of Elinor’s life will take place on Wednesday, August 11, from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear, by invitation only. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to SSVP Carbonear Foodbank, PO Box 455, Carbonear, NL, A1Y 1B8.
