Eleanor Lila Smith
Peacefully at the Prince of Wales Retirement Home in Ottawa on Sunday, October 24, 2021 with her family at her side. Eleanor Smith of Morrisburg, at the age of 89. Dearly beloved wife of the late Garnet Smith. Loving mother of Danny (Susan) Keyes of Howe Island, Donna (John) Riddell of Ottawa, Kevin (Shari) Keyes of Morrisburg and Kent (Stephanie) Smith of Ottawa. Predeceased by her parents Gladys and Orlin Barkley and by her brother Paul Barkley. Cherished grandmother of Melanie Riddell, Jennifer, Kristen, Lauren and Thomas Keyes, and Bradley and Sophia Smith. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements
A private family service will be held at the Lakeshore Drive United Church in Morrisburg on Saturday, October 30, 2021. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. If you are making your donation online or by cheque directly to the charity, please include the following note with your gift “please notify the family”.
