Effie’s Obituary
Effie was a long time resident of Montagneuse Valley (AB) and Fairview (AB), passing away on July 10, 2021 at Fairview’s Continuing Care, at 96 years of age. She was born in Bentley (AB) to Elizabeth (nee Jaffary) and Earl Stephanson on June 16, 1925.
Most of Effie commitments were to farming, with her husband Clifford Raymond. After a life of commitment, she moved to Fairview. She was an avid golfer who loved travelling, painting and knitting.
Effie is predeceased her husband Clifford Raymond; her parents Earl & Elizabeth; six sisters; five brothers. She is survived by her daughters Shirley (Ron) Lundgard, Leanne (Ed) Walmsley, Jolane (John) Hayes and their families; and, sister Mabel Hamilton.
Funeral Services held Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. from Eureka River Hall with The Venerable Canon Terry Leer officiating.
Interment will follow at Montagneuse Valley Cemetery #2.
