Edwina Dempsey
After a yearlong battle with cancer, Edwina Dempsey of Jacquet River passed away in her sleep at her residence on July 16, 2021 at the age of 63, amongst her children. Born in Saint John, she was the daughter of the late Stanley and Rowena (Little) Ezerskis. She was best known for her sense of humour, her generosity and her cooking, but most of all for her love of helping others.
Edwina is survived by her children Patricia Mullin (Kelly Gordon) of Ottawa, ON; Jason Dempsey of Lorne (deceased); Alida Mullin (Rene Landry) of Dieppe, NB, Shawn Ezerskis of Belledune, NB and Nicholas Dempsey of Cambridge, ON; grandchildren Shawn, Madison, Sam, Isaac and Carter as well as her siblings Augenia, Regina, Vincent, Sharon, Christina and Karen.
There will be no services at this time as per Edwina’s wishes, however a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
