Edwin William Maier died, as dawn was breaking, at his home at Trinity Care Centre in Penticton, BC on May 27th, 2021.
Ed was born at home on June 3rd, 1924, on the family farm at Kayville, Saskatchewan. He was the 5th of 6 children born to Bertha and Adam Maier. He was raised on the farm during the depression; even though times were very hard, he always spoke fondly of his mother’s and sisters’ cooking.
His dear sister Alma introduced him to Remona Knoll, whom he married and loved for 66 year…
