Edward DeBourke
November 29, 1935 – July 23, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Edward DeBourke, aged 85, on July 23rd, 2021. Predeceased by his first grandson Christopher DeBourke, parents William and Mary DeBourke, sister Joan Anderson and brother William DeBourke. Leaving to mourn with loving memories, his wife of 61 years Rose (nee Noseworthy); his four children: Christopher DeBourke (Melissa), Donna Birkeland (Darryl), Kenneth (Kimberley) and Debra Jacobs (Barry); loving grandchildren: Leanne, Jason, Amanda, Adam, Michael, Krista and Jennifer; loving great-grandchildren: Allyson, Jack, Rylan, Rory, Scarlett, Gabriela and Sadie; sister Maureen Anderson; brother Patrick DeBourke; nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends. Edward was a former member of the Knights of Columbus as Past State Deputy of NL and Past Grand Knight of Terra Nova Council. Special thanks to all the staff at the Agnes Pratt Home and Reverend Murray for your wonderful and special care of our loved one. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, July 25th, 2021 from 2 p.m to 4 p.m and 7 p.m to 9 p.m. Funeral service details to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations in Edward’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Society of NL, the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Canadian Mental Health Association.
