Earl Washington Edwards (November 11, 1942-May 15, 2021)
Passed away peacefully with his wife by his side. Earl Edwards, in his 77th year, beloved husband of Ena (Dawn) Edwards for 58 years. Loving father of Angela Edwards, Mark Edwards, and Washington Savage (all deceased). Special Grandpa to Piera Chanel Savage, Tiffany-Ann Diaz, Halston Mark Savage, Jaylon Washington Buwalda-Edwards, and Soma Mahalia Savage. Great grandfather to Luna Santana Savage, Mia Edwards, Naoiomie Dickson, Nathanyel Diaz, Timothy-Elias Diaz. Dear son of the late Ruth Codrington and Fred Edwards, deceased. Dear brother of Courtney Edwards and his wife Phyllis Edwards. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Port Antonio, Jamaica, Earl was born into the Seventh-Day-Adventist church. He emigrated to England in 1960, where he and Dawn were married and started their family. After becoming an electrician, Earl set sail for Canada in 1972, first settling in Toronto before moving to the unexplored terrain of Kemptville, Ontario with his family. He devoted his life helping others, engineering creative designs, and worshiping God.

A Private Funeral Service, with family members only, will take place at the Ottawa Seventh Day Adventist Church on Sunday June 6, 2021 at 11 am. For those who wish to participate virtually, a link to view the livestream service for Earl Edwards will be provided the week of June 6, 2021 on this website.
