DWYER, William “Willie” John
1940 –2021
Willie passed away suddenly after a short illness, at the age of 80 years old in Mayerthorpe, Alberta.
Willie is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Lorraine and their children: Charlene (George), Colleen, Kelly (Amanda), and Dianna (Jason). He will also be greatly missed by his siblings: Corine and Fred (Stephanie) from Whitecourt, Joyce (Tom) in Whiting of Rich Valley and Pat from Edmonton. Willie is also survived by his three aunts: Ruby, Annette, Loretta and his one uncle Ken, as well as, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Willie also be remembered by his in-laws: Roberta, Brian (Heike), Ron (Shirley) and Bev (Wayne). Willie is also treasured by his good friends: Stan, Terry, Bob, and Craig.
Predeceased by his father Michael in 1987and his mother Elodie in 2016. His brother Wayne in 2017, nephew Fred in 1986 and niece Tina in 2014. As well as his brother-in-law Allan in 2010, mother in-law Constance in 1986, father in-law Robert in 2002, brothers in-law: Frank in 2010 and James in 2011 and his sister in-law Brenda in 2010.
Due to Covid restrictions, small service for immediate family will be planned at a later date. The family would appreciate any stories or pictures of Willie, to please be shared with by the family’s email.
