SMITH, Dustin Alexander – of Simcoe, passed away on Saturday, July 24th, 2021 at the age of 40. Dustin is survived by his children, Emma and Alexander Smith and their mother Emily Smith (nee O’Donnell); his sister Tara (Daryn) Greasley; his nephew Makai Greasley; his nieces Carys and Kyla Greasley; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Dustin was predeceased by his mother Glynis Smith (nee Ainslie) and father Iain Smith. Dustin was born in Etobicoke and moved to Simcoe at a young age. He attended Elgin Avenue Public School and Simcoe Composite School. After high school, Dustin became a certified miner and moved to Sudbury. Dustin was very passionate about his career and worked all over Canada. In 2010, Dustin returned to Simcoe with his family to raise his children in the community where he was raised and a community that he loved. Dustin had a kind and loving heart, his friendly demeanour and charm will be missed. The family would like to express their sincere appreciation for all the love and support they have received by so many. Due to covid restrictions, a celebration of life service will be conducted at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. North Simcoe N3Y 3R3.
