Arthur was born in Edmonton, Alberta, into a family that would grow to have 9 children. There was always lots of noise, laughter and someone to fight or play with. As a teenager and young adult Art was very involved youth group, music and sports. Over the years he would bless many people with his beautiful saxophone playing. In 1968 he married Eva pearl and they had three children and six grandchildren whom he loved so much. Art was very industrious and could do many handy things. He loved cars and trucks and was a heavy duty mechanic by trade. Art always looked ahead to the day when he would meet his Saviour and now he is with Him. Though he will be missed, the thought of him with no pain, fully healed and worshiping God with all his heart is a beautiful picture.
The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the staff of unit 17 at St Albert Sturgeon Hospital for all their kindness and care shown to Art during his brief stay.
Remembering
Not in secret sorrow
Nor in vain regrets
But knowing God remembers
When the world forgets
Knowing when life’s shadows
‘Round about us steal
Earth can have no sorrow
Heaven cannot heal
